Santa Clarita Valley Athlectic Assoctiation

 The purpose of the association is to inspire youth to practice ideals of health, sportsmanship, and character. The association strives to bring the youth of the Santa Clarita Valley closer together through a common interest in sports, fair play and fellowship; to impart to the game elements of safety through intelligent and mature supervision and to keep the welfare of the children first and foremost.

A Quick Histoty of the Association

Santa Clarita Valley Athletic Association is an all-volunteer, non-profit corporation. It has existed since 1965! Prior to 1965 the organization was known as the Newhall Saugus Athletic Club. We have a strong and deep rooted history, which we should all be proud of, and committed to continuing long into the future.

SHANE VEREEN

Shane was picked 56th overall, in the NFL Draft by one of the league’s best franchise’s, the New England Patriots. Vereen is now the highest drafted running back who played high school football in the Santa Clarita Valley.
